Behrensbrook Langbett 1
Long Barrow in Schleswig-Holstein.
When driving the short way from Neudorf to the beaches at the 'Eckernfoerder Bucht', Baltic Sea, you come through the western end of the Behrensbrook forest.
There are remains of 5 Long Barrows in this forest, two of them still well recognizable and with intact tombs. The other three are almost completely destroyed, just some earthwork or left over bolders there.
This is the Long Barrow No. 1, or Sprockhoff 99.
It is the only one with a visible complete chamber, the mighty capstone still in place. It stretches out some metres outside the forest, there is still a group of 4 uprights behind the fence.
