I don't like crowds Bob, being a bit of a loner as I am. Generally, I avoid touristy places. Not easy when one lives on the coast, especially in North Yorkshire. Seemingly, every one wants to be here.

I chose my days and times carefully to avoid the clash!!

This photo is one of my personal favourites.

Thanks for your kind appraisal ;>)

Cheers Bob

Whow! That's the sort of sea I love (as long as I'm on dry land)!

Regards, Brian.

I'm pleased you omitted an intro to this since the shot speaks very well for itself and conveys a great sense of mood and suggestion of enjoying the place during the colder days.

Jim Evans (AXOTA) on June 24, 2011

I humbly apologise for this belated response guys ;)

►DisfrutaChile ®~~Many thanks for looking a little deeper..Your nice compliment is much appreciated ;)

brian01~~~I am usually reluctant to expose my camera to the wind blown salt laden air Brian..hence the few storm shots in my gallery..I managed to get some shelter for this one!

samsalt1~~~~This place draws me like a magnet Sam... since I was a child, before the last century was half way, I have been spell-bound...I rarely take photos there,,simply enjoying to take in the sea-air and magnificent views! and when the tide is out a walk along the beach to Upgang with my dog!

Many thanks for stopping by guys, your kind appraisals are greatly appreciated!

Jim
