This is the left part of the facade of Mnajdra Temples, in Malta.This neolithic temple goes back to circa 3,000BC and is a 'World Heritage Site'.Part of this complex pre dates the famous pyramid of Giza, Egypt (circa 2,500B.C)

Hello sniggers, thank you for your interessting comment. I visited Malta in 1996. I will never forget this wonderful vacation. Please tell me if I put this picture on the right position. It's so long ago but I really love Malta. Warmest regards from the Northern-German Harz-Mountains to Malta. Harry.

Hi Harry, Glad that you have visited these marvellous sites and Malta. Yes the position is very close to the actual temple. A project for the conservation and presentation of the Hagar Qim and Mnajdra Archaeological Park is being carried out.

Actually, this photo depicts the rear wall of the smaller Ggantija temple in Xaghra, Gozo.
