Jeeez, I wish I was there!
Is this a demolition derby rail track?
You not a train spotter are ya Kenny ?
Hahaha.... I am glad you spotted that KC - I must admit when I lightened my darkness and say the crossover I was stunned for a little while.
I am sure they know what they are doing.
Cheers chaps - David waiting for spring!
Hardly David. I think it was a touch of sarcasm as I suffer from Siderodromophobia.
regards from an unusually snowy Teesside.
It gets a lot better when you count all those diagonals!!!
I gotta go lie down for a while!!!
Superb image David,
You have changed the crosswords to crossroads? Not a bad deal at all. It's a photo with a nice move and mood.
Sorry to hear that Kenny I have never had a great love of them except when they present themselves as an alternative to flying!
Thank you Mike - the diagonals just keep on gettin' better in this image. Easter Greetings to you too....
Thank you Sixten I heard the engine coming down the tracks while I was on the OTHER side of the bridge shooting the sunset on the cityscape opposite. So I dodged the traffic and got across the bridge and only had time for one quick review of settings and shoot!
I think I got away with it.
Best wishes y'all - David
Brilliant shot David only slightly marred by the strange alien locomotive but saved by some really classy platelaying!!!
Its a classic hobo kinda train ain't it Jeff?
Platelaying? I'm going to bow to your superior knowledge on that one mate.
Many thanks - David
Sorry David - term used for railway track building. Check out Clapham Junction images in Google!!
Cheers - Jeff
I Like this very nice photo dear friend!!
Happy Easter to you and your family!!!!!!!!!
Greetings and best wishes from Greece-Piraeus.
All you need is a jail and you have the makings of a good ole country tune! Nice pic, David.
Thank you Nikos
I am not sure there is everything Ian - but I am always satisfied with where I am at.
I know you zoomed out Patty and saw Central Prison on the map! :o)
Thank you so much my friends - David
Thank you FD we all hope so, although a train on this line DID fall off not far up the track a few years ago. It landed in a tattoo parlor!
Liam - great to hear from you. Are you back home for a while? Many thanks buddy.
like!! nice crossing :)
Sunset and a train will do just fine David, although i think maybe "The Man in Black" might have been a bit confused if he'd tried to "Walk that Line" ;-))
Thank you Roeli Bindels
You may be right Neil but JRC was a resourceful chap, he'd a found a way.
Many thanks to you both - David
