This is a great idea, Henry! In our summer house in Finland we use a big barrel to burn the trash to avoid fire spreading in the forests. This one is a lot better and you say for the past 30 years been there....wow! I think we will shift to this solution, Henry!

Mainly paper packaging from household products. No way to recycle this type trash around these parts when you live in the country. Only in the bigger citys can it be taken and sorted and used.

Very original! We're not even allowed to burn trash at all in our bailiwick. It goes to landfill or recyc. Ah well, I suppose it's a good thing. :/

Hey Bassam, you can also mix some red pigment into the last layer of mortor poured on the upper top to give the illusion of lava running down the side.
