Not heard of these KC: I'm really out of touch now. Cheese Grater ? - Well I can imagine the final effect with a bit of effort!
like Best wishes, Andy
I think it's real name is Leadenhall Tower, but the nick name will out, just like the Gerkin and the Oil rig.
It's the ever evolving London Ian. One can't complain, it keeps us ahead of the pack.
Oil rig, KC?
The Oil Rig otherwise known as the Lloyds building somewhere on my City EC or Architectural tag.
Cheese grater? Probably because of all those cooking shows on TV :-(
Nice construction shot keepclicking, I'd like to see it when it's finished! Like from me.
Watch this space Pete.
J.C. thank you for your Jacobian comment on Audley End. That is quite different from this style. I must say that the lines of these modern buildings are quite spectacular. Great and appropriate title! Jan
They have virtually cla it to the top Jan. I will have to go and take some new pictures of this one.
Lovely point of view, wonderful result. Greetings - Christos.
Lloyds Building was known as the inside out building ~ KC
Indeed Nick. I worked extensively on it towards the end of it's construction. My claim to fame is that I was influencial in changing the entrance design. How about that then, a clueless spunky little 23 year old giving Richard Rogers and Renzo Piano advice.
Give em stick KC ~ Well done mate that took bottle :~))) The entrance looks good too !!!
Ta very much. How's Excel this morning? Been on the cable car yet?
Not there until next Suday KC ~ Did cable car last year :~) Nice trip ~~~
