Thank you Patrick yup they sure were, I know here it was a coal yard for the local area. When furnaces used coal.. Quick question do you of any of info of tracks to the right "center street branch"? Was there elevated line above the center street branch for the H&M? I know right where the NJPAC is in Newark it was the terminus for the H&M before Penn station.. The H&M was used on the Upper portion of the Centre Street Bridge

Hello Adam:

Are there any photos of the Centre Street Bridge around? I used to park my car on the little access road leading up to the western approach of the trestle over Rt. 21 while going to the old Rutgers chemistry building on Rector Street in the 60s.

Thank you shurelas I can only imagine some books out there such as the images of America, anything in the Library at Harrison or Newark showing the bridge.. My Dad remembers the bridge but only when he was young..
