I could see this formation building for 10 minutes, then there were so many glorious images, and I captured so many it was difficult to choose one. Sunsets in late Autumn and early spring are truly magnificent here on the UK east coast. You don't have to wait long.

Moments before, a heavy hail storm sent a few other brave souls scurrying for shelter. I could see that the cloud formations were beginning to break in the West. a few moments later, the sinking sun burned a hole in the sky and this was the result which is quite pleasing. The camera (and more likely, its owner) could not possibly have captured the majesty of this truly spectacular event.
