Beautiful shot of a nice land ! Is it the Madison's road ?

Bonjour Jawes. I see you also like HDR and are working to perfect it. I love it as a technique for wooden structures - like this one.

No, this is not a bridge in Madison County but in a park in Western North Carolina. My favorite is this one but I wish I could increase its density. Thanks for coming by and salutations from America.

Take more pictures (and HDRs).

:o)

That's a great bridge Jethro - why is it covered though? I agree - wood and HDR - nice! Ciao William

You ask the darndest questions William

Why are covered bridges covered?

They wouldn't be covered bridges if they weren't!

LOL - in truth I don't know but its a real good question.

Let me go check - until then many thanks and Cheers from Jethro

Fantastic ... lovely work and wonderful bridge ... I love timber ;)

William - the simple answer is to make them last longer. Its a huge multiplier the cover gives the life over a bare wooden bridge. I got that from Wikipedia..... of course.

Thank you Sandy HDR does rather well with wooden (and stone) structures.

Cheers - Jethro
