This is a beautiful angle. Great composition. Never thought that South Railroad Ave. could have such beauty. I grew up on Staten Island and drove up and down North and South Railroads when going to night school at New Dorp High School (which was in today's SI Tech) from 1983-84. I missed this tree. Live in Brooklyn now. I have put some photos on Google Earth, but haven't figured out how to map them. Do I have to subscribe, or is there a way through the free version of panoramio.com?

It takes time until your photos appear on GE. The thing is Panoramio has grown that much, that there are many users with the same problem as you. Already the site has 500.000 photos available.

You couldn't see the tree driving on S Railroad Av. The photo was taken from the northbound platform of the Grant City SIR Train station.

Thanks for responding andysanisidro and Thornsten (complements your parents for naming you--great name Thornsten). I noticed so far only one of my pix's has been mapped with an icon. 500,000!!! Geez! Uploading more pix tonight. I'm going to check out your photos andysanisidro some time tonight.
