busy little b--... chikadee :D we've got two robins redbrests coming to the window both at the same time (must be pair) and asking nicely for some sunflover hearts :) it's so cute!

Kevin Childress on May 19, 2013

They are just so damned cute!

Nick Weall on May 24, 2013

Highly desirable residence here ~ the competition must have been great to be the lucky pair to occupy it ~ have we had some chicks yet?

David Brown Photogra… on May 24, 2013

Indeed they are Kevin

So, according to those that know about these things Nick the Chickadee will build several nests and then choose one to occupy and breed in.

I don't think this was the one although I did hear some home improvements going on inside it... I think they put in a new kitchenette.

Cheers both - David

Nick Weall on May 24, 2013

perhaps it became the guest annexe and they are still awaiting the visit of the dreaded Mother in Law ~ Although the new kitchenette should keep her happy ~~

Rosalyn Hilborne on May 25, 2013

Ah, so that's a chickadee....I always wondered ;) LIKE.

David Brown Photogra… on May 27, 2013

Mother in laws are never happy Nick !

Indeed it is Rosa - so like your coal tit I think. They are just about our most common bird at the feeder, and most endearing (and noisy) they are too.

Thanks y'all - David

Hi David - haven't visited your gallery for a while but a Mirror dinghy conversation got me looking at yours again. Great to see your wonderful landscapes and birds. Cheers, William
