Time gone by for this chaple

Time has passed by for this old chaple in a very beautiful area in the yorkshire dales known as semer water. It stands on the edge of the lake near to bainbridge. Should you pass, its much worth a visit. Looking around the old chaple, and looking at some of the weather beaten gravestone, give you a sence of history and what life in the dales at that time must of been like.... tough. Some very sad information is writen on a gravestone about a past vicar and his son who died in the fist world war. Hope you like the picture and information. Do pay a visit should you be walking around this beautiful lake. The lake itself is used by small boats windsurfers fishermen and of course geese and ducks and many other types of water bird. Spectacular in the fall as the floks of geese are taking off together. A small charge to park here is needed from the farm nearby to the lake. I recomend this site as a five star area and a superb place of intrest. A new chaple was built just slightly higer on the banks of this old one, and is still in use today. Also just up above this old chaple, is a preserve factory making some superb jams and pickles! another must visit even if it just to try out a few samples in the tasting room.
