Lovely shot Jim! Looks just like one of those surreal little streets in the tv-series 'The Avengers'... Greetings, Dick

Greetings and welcome dick v, I like that idea and Emma Peel would be in her element here.

This was quite a surreal event Dick because the streets emptied so rapidly. Only momemts before it was packed with holiday makers. (this was Easter holiday monday !!)

I appreciate your visit and compliment. Thanks.

Best wishes.

ϐriţisђ~~~greetings Si...I'm quite fond of Church street..but to be honest, there are so many other little gems about town I'm hard pushed to chose a favourite! The lady who owns the SOAP shop was delighted to find her window on Panoramio!!

®mene~~~Thanks for the link and feedback Michael

Jim Evans (AXOTA) on March 10, 2010

ϐriţisђOf course..it is, as you say the most significant street in the town..I'm coming from a different perspective Si...You see, growing up here, I am left with many fond memories of places in the town which signify my roots, my childhood and I fondly remember those special friendships that can only come from a closely knit community! Sadly missing in today's culture..

I opted out following your generous offer of a parking space..I would appreciate your hospitality..Just let me know when it would be convenient Si ;>)
