thanks, guy ! You ever checkout my 'Idaho" and 'Wyoming' tags? So great out there. Amazing contrast between the flat open plains, and the jagged mountains, and the light is unbelievable. Snow in the mountains there the other night. Winter's on its way!

Thanks, dianne - we must have 'send' at the same time on this one.

Wow. I missed this one too. It is beautiful Kamaly. Maybe this is where our swans go. If you zoom out they are on the right path all the way down. You never know.

Thanks, Zoe - do these look like trumpeters? I couldn't really tell when I saw them. But I'd have to wonder why they didn't just stay up in Alberta, then - its sure not much warmer or too less snow in Teton Valley.

Hey Kamaly, I would say Trumpeter or maybe Tundra. It is really hard to tell unless you can see the beak up close Tundras have a little yellow mark and are a little smaller. Our swans are usually back here mid April and your swans are right on the flyway. That would be neat if they were the same ones. I will try to get some pictures tomorrow. It usually snows about a week after they leave. What is neat though is that they stop at the same sloughs on the way up and down. Zoe
