Left Sleeping Buddha

Finally I found a Sleeping Buddha or Reclining Buddha lying on the left. Most are sculpt lying on the right supposedly to symbolize Buddha last few moment before he passed away. Symbolically right make more sense than left from any culture point of view. This must be one of the only unique one. Carved at 5 meters high on the cliff and 23 meters long. Head pointing toward the east. Leg pointing the west. Since the cliff is facing southward, perhaps thats the reason why it ended doing a reclining Buddha lying on his left, because the head has to face the east. Heard there is one more in Burma. Tang Dynasty period. Bamiao village, Anyue, Sichaun, China
