This Basqule style bridge was on the Canadian Northern Railway (CNoR) line from Ottawa to Napanee. It was built in 1915 (recent for railway) and was assumed by CNR in 1923 and ceased operating in 1978. The Cataraqui Trail for hiking from Napanee to Smith Falls on the CNoR line ends near here. The red canoe just arrived from Kingston on the Rideau Canal. There is a lot of history here. This is a UNESCO world heritage site.
