Headless Buddha

Headless Buddha, destroyed either during the cultural revolution or Taoist purged earlier. The holes in every head area seem that the head are done separately and fixed on it or perhaps something was hidden there. Period: Tang & Song Dynasty. Thousand Buddha grotto garden at Mount Dayun west of Anyue town, Sichuan, China.
