Rising Steam and Trout - Yellowstone

Hot water streams down from the Excelsior Geyser, formerly the largest geyser on Earth, into the Firehole River raising clouds of steam while trout fisherman(4 of them) try their hand at catching trout from the warmed waters. Yellowstone is such an amazing place! Note to self...must return!

I captured this from the bridge that leads to the half mile boardwalk that winds through the Midway Geyser Basin. Rudyard Kipling referred to the basin as Hells Half Acre after visiting in 1889. It's easy to see why. :)
