Tête Carrée

The Square Head (Tête Carrée) is a monument houses the administrative offices of the Central Library of Nice, France.

The Square Head is a monumental sculpture 30 meters high. It is composed of a cubic part of 14 m with the offices of the library Louis Nucera, supported at the bottom by a huge bust , truncated at the mouth.


Plans for the library were made in 1996 by the architects Francis Chapus and Yves Bayard, in combination with the sculptor Sacha Sosno . The building was inaugurated on 29 June 2002.

The lighting at night is done by Yann Kersalé.

Een vierkant blok en toch erg MOOI Erik, dat hek is ook niet verkeerd. Groeten Berend

Je kent de gekte Berend voor wat betreft de hekken dus die mocht niet ontbreken. Maar het onderwerp is dit bijzonder kantoorgebouw.
