Great shot of an unusual engine. I'm thinking the Panama Canal is a ways away from NJ - so is this a museum mostly about the Panama Canal -or- train engines in general -or- ??? Thanks for posting this. Maxine.

Thank you Maxine back in the early to mid 1800's when the west was wild, Paterson, NJ was home to one of America's first Locomotive works.. The General locomotive was built here at the Rogers Locomotive and Machine Works.. Please check out the Paterson Museum site they have a lot of interesting facts, Paterson was called Silk city also home to the Colt Paterson
