Allée des baobabs.

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

This is maybe the most photographed spot in Madagascar. We found it nice as it gives you an impression at a glance of the landscape, so there are tourists who just go there take a shot and continue with their lives. In my personal opinion there are other non-famous spots to see these trees in the area, far more interesting. We asked the locals how come they keep the baobabs while 95% of the jungle is gone in the island. The answer was that the wood of this trees was worth nothing so they do not even bother burning them as it happened all over the place.
