Mnichy Chochołowskie 3D

Not selected for Google Earth or Google Maps after a second review [?]

To see the 3D effect, you have to watch your right eye the left picture, and your left eye the picture on the right side. In order to do it:

  1. if the picture is horizontal, enlarge the photo in your browser to full size; if the picture is vertical you may also use the standard size of the picture on the user site

  2. sit at least 1,5 meters away from the monitor (if the picture is vertical or small it may be less, but in general if the distance is larger you will easier see the 3D effect, but of course don’t exaggerate! :)

  3. focus gaze on your finger that you need to hold 40 cm before your nose (if the picture is vertical or small or you sit far from the monitor, the distance must be larger)

  4. move your finger forward or backward slowly until you’ll see 3 pictures, all the same size

  5. …and the hardest part…. forget about the finger and try to focus your gaze at the middle picture – often it happens spontaneously, but if not, it’s better to choose the elements of background. And don’t move your eyes! (usually when we move our gaze from close to distant objects, besides changing of the focal length, we move also our eye-balls, and that is the trouble – you mustn’t do that!)

  6. don’t give up if you failed for the first time, it needs some practice!

Have fun! :)
