Lovely shot! Sometimes I find it strange to see buildings like this in America. I always think of them as European.
An unusual shot for you David. I like the idea but I can't work out why I am not keen on it. I think it is because the tulips don't look real. Have you overworked the colour as the leaves look plastic.
On the plus side the very low angle is great.
On the other hand I love this shot with a whole different perspective and the artistic tulips:) YSL!
Incredibly artistic, David. I really like this one! That's awesome!
I agree Liam but we have got used to it.
I am in agreement Kenny - it was a bear to work. I got the tulips in the sun but didn't like the chapel view so much, so shot this set of 3 bracketed shots on the shady side. The tulips were dark and are worked a little but to my eyes always look artificial anyway!!!
Thank you for you candor.
I must be gettin' artisitc Joy in my old age. Who else told me that recently?
Thank you Patty I am trying hard!
Many many thanks for your feedback on this one, I really do appreciate it.
I knew you would not be offended by my comment. BTW our sky is currently as blue as yours and I am stuck at work!!!
Sorry Kenny to hear about your predicament. Never mind, it'll be dark soon!
Now you know why I left.
Beautiful composition with flowers in the foreground!!LIKE.Ciao,Dino
Thank you Dino and Sistuccio!
Best wishes from North Carolina - David
Lovely, lovely, lovely. I does seem to have a 'composite-like' quality to it but lovely just the same.
Since taking this Kevin I have looked at tulips as I pass them by and note that they have that 'plastic' look anyway. It doesn't then take much in LR to petrify them!
Tough shot beautifully expressed!
Tough indeed Kathleen I had to lie down in the sun to get this shot!
Well I really like it...Cheers, Rosa.
Thank you Rosa - enjoy your holiday and nice weather (I hear!).
Beautiful, eye-catching, unusual photo! Y*. The contrast did take me aback at first but I quickly got used to it. You must have dug a hole to get so low!
Best wishes, Brian.
I lay on my belly Brian on the sidewalk.
I suffer for my art............
It does work (in a special kinda way) don't it?
