I see a couple of people walking on the beach? and it looks cold and windy Sam, there's not many places you can stand to get a good shot of Bamburgh Castle, so i say job well done. Like..Regards Richard

Fabulous Sam - I am so glad you're out of your waterfalls period! What an awesome image to signal the end.

This really communicates the remoteness of those northern north beaches!

:o)

Best wishes - David

With that flippin wind as bad as it was not many people would have attempted this shot,i know you are always up for a challenge and its paid off...again,good job done Sam.

A good alternative view of the castle Sam.

Another masterpiece Sam. It's a very sturdy looking castle along the wild, windy coast. Nice sky as well! Like it. Cheers, Rosa.

Beautiful!

Do the metal-detectors ever turn up trumps?

Nice photo - I had no idea it was possible to build sandcastles so big! :-)

Richard, it was very windy and cool for sure, I'd seen that most shots were from the beach so I had to look elsewhere ;o) and this just seemed right though the blowing grass was tricky.

OJ1br@ I'm delighted you like it.

David, I am never out of my waterfall period :o) just that the better weather and a chance to visit new locations has allowed a change which I gather for you at least is very welcome ;o). Sorry if I was boring you with them :o)

Neil as you say always one for a challenge I just had to ;o), the trick I found was to wait for the wind to be fairly constant and shoot fast of course.

Manola I am always pleased to hear you have enjoyed what you have seen .

Sidnei it's always good to see a new name to my visitors list, welcome.

Ian, alternatives are what I always strive for and so that is music to my ears.

Rosa I am delighted to receive your lovely compliment. Yes very sturdy not only to keep marauders out but also the biting wind it receives.

Niki I am delighted you think so.

AndyI'm sorry I can't answer your question re detectors and as for how big well I guess the only limit is the size of your bucket.

Beyer99, I like WOW as a response :o)

My thanks and very best wishes to you all, Sam :o)
