The "Hand" of Miles Davis (trumpet player)

Not selected for Google Earth or Google Maps after a second review [?]

The Hand with its mysterious gesture, is a hand in action of the coolest jazz trumpet player Miles Davis!

It is not an original image as I thought, but it was inspired by a photograph of Irving Penn used on 1986 Davis's Album Tutu

Here is the original use!. The artist here is Rachel David (no relation to Davis), but I am not 100% sure.

I was asking originally, what does this the gesture means and the answers were thoughtful and surprising.

Try the gesture your self, I can not keep the ring finger strait!

Is that a jazz club, Tomas? Then it makes sense! My uncle would have said, "And here's one for your horse!!". Have a great week-end!

Yes, it called poetry jazz cafe, and they do play jazz in there. There is no sign!!!, so I did not know. I guess it is word of mouth, but it is on the web.

One of the best, if not the best, jazz trumpet player. I can't straighten my ring finger either. Therefore a very interesting painting, LIKE 31, regards Lucien
