Ah, very beautiful, Marilyn! I like this perspective, a window to the sky! Ryan
These photos are fantastic! Goodness knows how many of we will send to a travel in the Arches National Park to you!
Hi Marilyn, I enjoyed a fantastic virtual trip while browsing through your gallery, thank you! Wishing you good weather and good light, Gabor
Wonderful colors,Marilyn,it seems Gabor's wish was already working. What a sky!
Great! Absolutelly Great!.
Thank you for your comments, Ryan, Giulio, Gabor, Daniela, eme jota, and Marco.
I owe this picture to my husband. I was willing to stop with this shot, but he pressed on. He came back and told me that there was a great viewpoint up ahead. I continued, and yes, there was! Marilyn
Great perspective, Marilyn! Your husband was wise to urge you on to this vantage point! :)
great shot, marilyn! :) maybe you could climb up next time to add some perspective ;) last time i was there, i saw a couple small children climbing that arch (on that side, not the much easier campground side) while their parents stood at the bottom and watched! :O yikes, brian
Thanks, Brian. That would be the day! My aged knees did well enough to get me here to the bottom! (On a trip west when I was a teen-ager, my parents and I saw parents trying to put a child on a roadside bear to take a photo! Is there no end to stupidity?) Marilyn
Marilyn incredible photo,Congratulations¡¡¡¡ Regards, Josep Àngel from Catalonia.
Impressive perspective and amazing photo Marilyn ! My best regards, Tamás
Hello Marilyn. A beautiful perspective. Congratulations.
Many thanks, Josep, Tamás, and Pepe.
In 1940 some rock fell and doubled the size of the arch! Now they know what piece of rock they expect to fall next, but of course they don't know when. They also don't know whether the arch will collapse when it does. But until then it's quite a sight!
Greetings Marilyn, How cool is this. We stood in about the exact same spot for our pictures of Skyline. Next place I go I am going to leave a quarter for you under a rock and I'll tell you which rock so you can get the quarter when you go there! ;-))
Rich, it's a game of tag, and you're it!
Marilyn, that is a great photo and good stories to go with it, as always. I've enjoyed your trip very much!
Thanks, Nawitka, for joining me on the trip. I wish you could have been with us really and not just virtually!
Beautiful, this reminds me of your Abbey window shot, with the open sky showing through the arch...Anita
Many thanks, Anita. I hesitate to explore whether there's some deep psychological reason that I like to photograph through things ... but I do! Best wishes, Marilyn
Saludos from Spain.Epi
