What a bizarre kind of landscape you found here. The stick-like trees and the moody sky give it a bit of a threatening atmosphere (hope you take that as a compliment...)

It really is kind of surreal, Jeroen. The marshy areas around the coastal areas of the southeastern US have a lot of this. I've always found it curious that the trees were able to grow/mature as much as they did only to take on this dead appearance. I'm not sure if the trees are living or not.
