Fair enough Mr Brian. I am a man of words, in fact I love them. Sometimes people can't get me to keep my words in. I suppose you're not a nerd, someone who's a bit flowery with language maybe. Although I think it's a bit odd to find the word 'guy' offensive. I did assume you're a man, and of course you aired your comment in good faith. My comment was rude, and for that I am sorry. Although I am a technical person, I do not use very expressive language when critiquing art or photography. I just know what I like. Fair play to you for your opinions, and I hope you have a nice day also.

By the way, I still think a lot of comments are over the top on Panaramio, and maybe that's why I let rip. I love photos, but that's all they are. They bring joy to people, but they won't save your soul. I also detect a bit of sarcasm from you regarding my own photos, and fair enough you're entitled to that. I'm not a professional, but I think my best is good enough for these fine pages. Some of my choices may seem odd, but to me there's a place for artistic and clearly heavily processed photos, and I don't think that is Panaramio. I hope the photos are about views that people don't think of, about places people remember and also places that are special to me. Then there are flukes that I see some time later and love. And then there are some that are just of a nice shot that maybe say little about the place, like the one with the berries. But I liked it. Maybe there are others like me.

Thanks Martin. My comment on Donald's photo was a bit 'wordy' but innocent, so I was shocked and hurt by your response. Re. sarcasm, I assure you none was intended. I genuinely like your photos and several, including the one with the red berries, have gone to my 'favourites. I'm shutting up; could write more but will probably end-up getting all pompous! Brian.
