Bird cherry in the beautiful spring light... Is it "ptačí třešeň" in Czech, as google translate says? :)

Hana Koudelková on May 7, 2013

It would be a word-for-word translation, but the right Czech name for the shrub is střemcha obecná. I did not know it, but I have found it on Wikipedia, when I clicked on the Czech version of the page for "bird cherry" ("prunus padus" in Latin).

Yes, the GT translation sounded "fishy", and I remembered about Wiki later... Interesting, that it could be either a tree or a shrub. The fragrance is just intoxicating - isn't it?

Yes. Thank you for learning me new things :)

Souhlasím s Vaškem. Máš jemnou atmosféru ve svých fotografiích. Je to jak zahradní deštík. :-)
