Tews Falls near Dundas, Ontario

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Tews Falls is a ribbon waterfall 41 metres in height, making it the tallest in Hamilton area. Located at the Spencer Gorge.

In the Hamilton area there are about 120 waterfalls. Not all of them attract crowds like a Niagara Falls, but usually nature surrounds them and you can enjoy a pleasant walk to reach them.

Between the Webster and Tews waterfall there is about 1 km pleasant hike.

Quite lucky to be there, when the sun was shining on the falls. Later in the season, there may not be a waterfall at all, as the creek which feeds the falls is very small and often dries out in summer.
