Great shot Leo, I believe it can be a bit tricky refueling. I suppose bad weather would make it difficult...Anita

Thank you for yur kind words.

I think it can be very tricky. Fortunately, my friend was doing the refueling and all I had to do was take the pictures.

Cheers, Leo

Thank you, Lex, for the visit and kind comments. I've been so busy this summer that I have not had much time for my Pano friends. My summer job ends in three weeks and I intend to catch up on all my friends.

I will be posting more pics soon as I am going up on a tanker mission Monday to refuel the US Air Force Thunderbirds. Can't wait!

Best wishes, Leo

Thank you, Dmitriy. It was great to be able to photograph a B-1 refueling. I'm still hoping to be able to shoot a B-52 or B-2 someday.

I went on a mission to refuel the USAF Thunderbirds the other day. I will be posting pics from that trip soon.

Best wishes, Leo

Oh yes! both variants are really intersting!! Btw, we had a great aviation holiday last Sunday. I was connected with 100-th anniversary of Russian Airforce. I was there and now I'm uploading some new photos. There were dozens of flights of different aircraft (mostly russian). Unfortunately none of modern USAF palnes visited Moscow this time but there were many WWII american planes including P-47 and B-25. I liked the sound of it's engines! You can see some photos of this event here. Best regards and have a nice day!

Congratulations to the Russian Air Force on its 100th anniversary. I would have loved to have been there to see the show! I have viewed your photos and they are fantastic!

Best wishes, Leo
