There are so many things to say about this wonderful, photo Fai.

First of all there are a lot of pixels in there pal! It took ages to load up the big screen. But WOW!! the clarity is superb. Pin Sharp and crystal clear ;>) The subject is very good, as is the view point and composition!! Colour and contrast perfect!!

Now just take a look at the sailing barge mast, it is massive. A whole tree in fact!! And who would not swap places with those lucky waterside folks!!

I know! its a flood plain!! They probably claim on their insurance every other year!!

A very good picture Fai and one for my faves ;>)

Thanks a lot Jim, glad you took the time to appreciate this. Lighting conditions were amazing and this shot is straight from the camera! I've seen the people on the barge feed the swans, it's a great life :)

Best wishes, Fai

I remember this photo well and I am back again to praise Runnymede. This is the Runnymede prototype for many Runnymedes in Australia and Canada. :)

A beautiful scene, well captured, and somehow this could only be the Thames. You have a great gallery, Fai, which has been added to my favourites.

Thanks a lot Keith! I can't agree more about the Thames, though I am sure many will disagree with us!

Best wishes from London, Fai

It is the fact that its water goes through 8 persons insides from Oxford to Southend, which is a wee bit off putting Fain.:(

Faintlightofdawn, on October 23, said:

Not at all Scally, after the water leaves the Thames, it travels up the North Sea where it goes through parts of the North Sea, then some currents push it further up and the reverse jetstream drags it to the North Atlantic where enters the wee River Clyde. Scaring some seagulls along the way....

ACRONYM, on October 23, said:

Well if that's the case Fain... there's no bloody wonder the fishing's gone dead ;.) jim

Faintlightofdawn, on October 23, said:

Yeah, I'm sorry Jim, but it is also causes climate change and El Nino :D Blame Oxford...
