It's beautiful! Do we get an explanation (e.g. what sort of photoshop), or are we simply to use our imaginations?

Very intriguing photo, Yan, giving space for fantasy and imagination! Best greetings, Eva

It is beautiful.

You both know I like revealing things or better still creating mysteries. Now which do I do?

When I go to an art gallery, I usually come away with a new work of art in my camera, for I like to create.

This is a closeup of a piece of a sculpture in stone. And everyone who went to the gallery passed this in the courtyard, or sat beside it at the cafeteria, but no one that I saw stopped to look or examine.

I simply transformed it from a large sculpture into a simple study in form and used photoshop to transform the dull grey colour into something golden.

A number of colours occurred to me, depending on the egg that came to mind: nest-egg in gold, or platinum; emu-egg in green; ovulation in red; farmyard egg in pastel brown, oyster pearl...and I have tried them, and all of them work. And fantasy may create many more and with each there must be a story. Here's a Forum game to play, Marilyn: Eva chooses the colour of fantasy and you respond with a creative story!!

It is a fascinating thing indeed. My eyes wander from one texture and shade to the other... I really like it. Another serendipity:)?

Cheers, Inessa

It is a real joy to offer an image that you enjoy, and which brings some serendipity to you, Inessa.

Colourist and beautiful work. Congratulations from Antonio's Spain.

Thanks Antonio. This image reminds me of the lure of El Dorado.

That is beautiful. The way you've done it is very interesting. Thank you for the explanation above. Liviu

Ian Stehbens on May 7, 2008

Your appreciation encourages me, Liviu. Thanks so much. Are you an artist?

Liviu Chirilă on May 8, 2008

If I am an artist... I don't know. I paint, but I don't think that I'm an artist. And that's because I graduated from a college that doesn't have to do with any form of art, my job doesn't involve anything related to art. It is true that in my spare time I prefer to paint, as a hobby, but this doesn't make me an artist. I paint icons, glass and wooden icons, in the old byzantine style. I'll post a sample of my work for you, but I'll remove it after you'll see it, because it doesn't fit Panoramio's recommendations. Greetings, Liviu
