Did this used to be a restaurant? I seem to recall eating there. Great whisky selection and an excellent sticky toffee pudding dessert that I have not been able to find since.

It might have been at one time. At the time we were there, it was a museum. Thank you for looking! it was originally the stores for the builders and occupants of Dunnotar Castle, just down the Coast.

The restaurant is up the steps; the museum entrance is via the ground floor door bottom right - next to the memorial bench placed here in 1981 to celebrate a Royal Wedding.
