The location of Wreck of Dunraven - Red Sea, at South end of Shaab Mahmud (Beacon Rock - becouse there is a Lighthouse (right tip of reef)

Dunraven built in 1873 in Newcastle (England) by Mitchell Iron Shipbuilders, which was a steam freighter from the first part of the century. It measures 85 metres long and 10 m wide. Sunk at 22. April 1876 at Bacon Rock, officially re-discovered in 1977, Minimum Depth to Wreck 17m (upturned Bows) Maximum Depth to Seabed: 32m
