Ελληνική χελώνα (Testudo graeca)= Greek turtle

The carapace of the turtle is living tissue and into the cavity of protecting the vital organs of the animal. Her skin is covered with scales, especially thick in the forefoot. The turtle has a very sharp sense of smell too good eyesight: The field of view covers 360 degrees, unlike the field of human covering 160 degrees. Has no teeth, but the jaws have sharp edges and form "beak". The turtle uses heat from the environment as a primary source of heat of her body, removable sun shade and vice versa (thermoregulation).
