Weil ich von den geografiekundigen Leuten wissen möchte (siehe Titel), wo sich die Statue befindet, monika.

Wim hat sich schon 10 Superratepunkte geholt. ;-)

Hi POLY (Entschuldigung :-)!!!! ), I know the place: behind the statue is Novotel Hôtel - Tour Eiffel, formerly Nikko Hôtel on Quai de Grenelle! We had several conventions in this hôtel. It gave me opportunity of shooting this area! Your picture shows the original "small size" of Bartholdy's statue. It's situated on a small island on Seine River in Paris... please look at the links... By the way, your photo is excellent! Cheers Annick

... ;o)) I think that I'm the World Championship Winner with 10000000000000000000000 points because I know the place, the hôtel of the background ( my room was on 26th floor facing Seine river - look at night pictures -and I gave prooves of it on Panoramio... the GOLD standard ! Friendly dear Poly :-) Annick

This photo was taken in Paris: The French Statue of Liberty on the river Seine in Paris, France. Given to the city in 1889, it faces southwest, downstream along the Seine.

Naja, die Schweizer haben vielleicht ja neben Ricola noch einiges erfunden, aber hier sehe ich nichts dergleichen. Was meinst du wohl?
