thank-you bayernengel, for your kind comments, We were at Bombay Hook on a bird watching/photo ride in the late afternoon when we spotted blue birds and gold finches feeding on grass seeds, they would briefly fly and land on the grass stalks and the grass would bend and they would disappear from sight. I had my window down and I was getting bitten by bugs. I finally took a few photos, not knowing if my manual focus was good. I was very pleased when I got home and viewed the photos on the computer.

Thank-you Taraven, I was very pleased when this photo turned out to be focused, I am finding that small birds are much more challenging than ducks and geese
