Collie-Cardiff Railway Bridge

More than half of the underground coal mined in Collie passed over this bridge.

Initially built in 1903 to service the Collie-Cardiff Railway, it was rebuilt in 1953 and again in 1967-8. Extensive maintenance occurred in 1978.Over the years, various spur lines have led off this line to various mines and the Muja Power Station, until it's eventual closure in the 1990's
