Wonderful composition Sam
It is quite 'olde worlde' only marred by the cars in the distance and the modern road sign. I love the way the foreground tree blocks out a lot of the sky as when it is so bright it blows out messing up the exposure, nice trick.
Here in Madrid it is still winter.
(Ok it isn't. But it has been the coldest May and early June in 200 years - pleasant for me in shirtsleeves but the Madrid folk are still wrapped up in furs and scarves and thick sweaters and coats. Obviously today's temperature of 28 degress (80 approx in real temperature) is nothing conpared to 45 degrees (230 degrees in proper temperateure) we can expect soon.
I remember you saying you would get this scene in all the seasons Sam, this one nice with the sun and the golden leaves. A lot more pleasant to be there than the rain.
Nice job on the old favourite Sam, as for the cars, well you just have to accept them, there's no way you can take this shot without them, same with most pubs i suppose.
You always capture a good picture in Lealholm Sam i think the colours are superb L&F..Richard
