Very nice Alicia, especially when I open it up to the full screen view. Larry

Thanks for your visit and comment, Larry. We were lucky with brittlebush and some wildflowers but the flowers are so dependant on recent rains that it is hard to plan. Best, alicia

Very nicely captured with great details and colors. Wish I'd seen the desert in bloom this way. Maybe next time...

Timing on the desert flowers is difficult, for sure. I had hoped to see more cacti in bloom, but I think that has to wait for hotter weather there. Thanks for your compliment, Tom. Best, alicia

This one is a fantastic splash of color Alicia. You really have captured some classic images. Rob

Thank you, Rob for all of your visits and kind words. We heard from the locals that we missed the grand display by a couple of weeks, but we did catch the brittlebush and the beginnings of blooms on cacti. Hope you make it there someday! Best, alicia

Beautifully composed, Alicia! As Larry says, it's worth opening it in full screen, it shows so many details. The diagonal row of cactusses and the yellow colour of the flowers produce a nice depth. May

Thank you, May for your critique and compliments. I think most photos on panoramio are at their best in full size - I'm glad we have that option. I know you are fond of this terrain, May, and it's always nice to hear from those who appreciate the beauty in the desert. -alicia

I appreciate your comments very much, Séan! I'm so glad you are enjoying my Arizona photos. The desert is truly a very beautiful landscape in its subtle way. This trip was in March and it seems like that 80 degree weather was years ago! Best regards to you as well, -alicia
