It does add dignity, doesn't it! All the more if you consider that they are engaged in a heavy-duty clearing exercise here, so there are raw tree stumps, piles of sawdust & cut back shrubs all around here. There aren't usually many people around first thing in the morning, but there were some undergraduates throwing snowballs outside Keele Hall when I arrived - very noisy & not at all solemn!!
