Lumsden Building (John A. MacKenzie, 1909), 10 Story Skyscraper, when it was completed, the building was the largest concrete-faced building in the world.

Charles Cummings was President of C.C. Cummings Ltd., the Slater Shoe empire and owner of the Lumsden building (his wife maiden name).

Their summer home Cedar Ridge in Scarborough, is now an city owned Art Center.

Genuine Slater Shoe adds were common in Canadian newspaper until at least 1942.
