The Benetikos is river in the prefecture of Grevena, Macedonia. It is one of the largest tributaries of Aliakmona. Stems from Smolikas and flows east. Just south of Grevena flow through vertical and conglomerate rocks forming the famous Gates of Venice. Then flows east and contributes to Aliakmona near the village of Love. In most of the year the waters have bright turquoise color, except during periods of heavy rainfall when the waters are filled mud from adjacent streams. The river offers activities such as rafting and kayaking.
