Two Goldfinches ~ Carduelis carduelis

Not selected for Google Earth or Google Maps [?]

A highly coloured finch with a bright red face and yellow wing patch. Sociable, often breeding in loose colonies, they have a delightful liquid twittering song and call. Their long fine beaks allow them to extract otherwise inaccessible seeds from thistles and teasels. Increasingly they are visiting birdtables and feeders. In winter many UK goldfinches migrate as far south as Spain. From :

Some interesting comments Nick. This is like a mirror image ;D Lovely shot. LIKE. Have a good week. Regards, Rosa.

♦Rosa♦ I enjoy the comments Rosa they can be such fun and often add a little something to the shot and I agree with your comments here the alternative being photo-shot trickery but what you see is what you get :))) I wish you a good week too and I enjoyed your little Weymouth series too ~ Best wishes ~ nick
