Clothes Market as it was in 1998, Kundiawa, Papua New Guinea

This picture seems like it is very old, I have been to this same place and it is very different nowadays. I will go there at the end of this year so if I remember I will take some pictures of it.Thanks for the 2 pics though..

Thanks for commenting on this picture. It was taken in 1998 or 1999. You say it's very different now. Have they built any buildings on this area of land? Have I position the photo correctly within Kundiawa?

You know what this place was a beautiful park with huge gum trees and a home to such birds as the parrots and pidgeons. However has been destroyed and is now the huge second hand clothing market for the province.

Thanks Graham for the pictures; the town was a little beautiful place back then; the population had exploded dramatically and is having its toll on the building infrastructures and the town area.
