Main Street, Seaview, WA

Seaview was once a depot on the Ilwaco Railway and Navigation Company, a narrow gauge railroad that ran up the Long Beach Peninsula from 1889 to 1930. The buildings are mostly missing except the depot which is said to now be a restaurant. The rail line started at Ilwaco and ran the length of the Long Beach Peninsula, a distance of about 40 miles. The railroad based its schedule on high tide in Ilwaco which was when river boats could navigate the shallow bay and drop off vacationers arriving by boat from Portland.
