One of my most popular pictures is one of St Bees Bay from the cliff tops to the south in a storm and on film.
Here is an update taken some 20 years or so later. Not so stormy but nothing much else has changed.

Hahahaha.......... we enjoyed lots of laughs on that exact subject Kenny we visited out folks oop north in Yorkshire and Newcastle and then went to our old home in Cumbria for a while.

I remember picking up a stone from down there on the beach in 1990, the object was to do as old Wainwright had done, and carry it from the Irish Sea to the North Sea. Still got the stone, but not me old mate!
