I haven't time right now to look at everything properly, but this bit of "abandoned" certainly caught my eye! You caught it very well, Ainars.

old soviet doors :)

thank You Marilyn and Rumlin for such a great comments! :)

With longer time distance since soviet era, the more I can see than things around us changes or dissapearing or just getting new, more commercial faces. For most of things this is good path and we are just happy if we can enter now our usual mills where food or goods on shelf as seen just like from Belgium, or just like in some Copenhagen shops. But such a old doors samples, abandoned barns or old dusty frame details add's to our country some extra charm too. :) Don't you think?

I not speaking about Russia or Moscow as special case where commercial western bank offices and old comparty symbols (sycle and hammer) can be found side by side in tight neibhour to each other! :D

I am happy with my unique chance than I have visit smalltown Valga, where I not been since 1987. I will upload later few more sigts and will put connecting links to older sights.

I think the same way. These things, cars, houses and buildings decorations may disappear very soon, and then they will remain only in photographs and memories. Think about tag for such things. Maybe "Soviet style"

Thanks for support and idea! Special tag for such details will be handy and can help distinguish "soviet period ideological content" from ancient or novadays commercial. I know, than many users allready done that filter.

I feel, am not the one. I am not chasing/hunting such content specially and those few photos I have are rather exclusion for me than regular.

I love photograph old buildings with elements which cought my eyesight. Love churches, love capture ladscapes and specially where i see with reflections or with sunbeams.

Since last summer I chasing for "kiwies" (interesting graffity character) because it makes me smile where i see any new stencil appearences. :)

When I am in excursion or in business trip with enough free time, then I love capture all around me which rises my interest. :) Very soon, just in next couple of weeks hopefully I will move to new account and then situation change will show me my next period preferences. :)
