Thankyou for posting this photo, Steve. All Sydney-siders need to see this and be made aware of it. I crossed it once in my campervan back in 78. Palmina Moore who is a Geordie told me that there were pictures of this old girl on Panoramio, after I had commended her on her B&W of Sydney's version. My wife has relatives in South Shields, Gateshead and Durham so we knew the area back then but haven't been back. Because of the connection with Sydney, I don't think it would be inappropriate to add a "harbour bridge" tag to this one. Ian
